Short Biography
Aspa Kandyli is a licensed teacher with over 15 years of experience working with children in Greece and the Netherlands. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature and an MA in American Studies, where she focused on how identity, race, and culture shape our lives and experiences. Since 2021, she has been a Lifestyle Medicine Advisor (ELMO Certificate), which has expanded her understanding of how lifestyle influences health and that is a concept she teaches in the classroom. Aspa is passionate about bridging healthcare and education to promote health literacy and cultural awareness among the public and professionals. She manages a platform of 50,000 people across her social media channels, where she shares accessible information and resources on sleep, breastfeeding, parenting, and sustainability. Since 2024, she has collaborated with the International Parenting and Health Institute to adapt their certifications to different cultural contexts and train the next generation of sleep consultants and parenting coaches, using an integrative, culturally aware approach.
